Women in Deed Helping Women in Need
“Irene’s Dream Luncheon” fund-raising event is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, April 30, 2011, at the Pittsburgh Field Club in Fox Chapel, Pennsylvania.
The Irene’s Dream Luncheon event makes available in one convenient location a top-tier collection of boutique shopping opportunities, provided by some of the best women-owned businesses in the region. The boutique shopping was so popular a year ago, that the number of participating businesses has been increased for this year’s event. Open to the general public, the boutique shopping event features jewelry, accessories, goods for the home, and numerous other collections.
A luncheon, scheduled to begin at noon, will feature presentation of the Irene O. Bartko Award to a woman who demonstrates her commitment to self-sufficiency, working to achieve her personal and professional goals, and continuing to make positive progress in her life’s journey.
While the luncheon is by invitation only, the Pittsburgh Field Club is offering a la carte dining to any interested shoppers.
